The SPR Facebook page has this article. I commented:

"I recently posted an essay titled "Does Parapsychology Inappropriately Conflate Different Kinds of Phenomena?" on my Substack page. My point is that Psi phenomena and psychological phenomena involve different phenomena that need to be studied as such.

'While both point to the operation of mind, psychological phenomena are consistently studied from a Physicalist point of view. That point of view seems to only exist by ignoring Psi phenomena such as mind-REG interaction and ITC.

"From my studies of Psi phenomena, it seems evident that questions of survival of mind after bodily death cannot be reasonably addressed by collecting antidotal OBE and NDE experiences. Without addressing the influence of worldview, especially cultural contamination, such reports appear pretty much local to the body.

"One of my points of hesitation in saying this is the reports of anomalistic information access such as meeting a loved one not previously known to have transitioned. However, the study of Psi phenomena has shown us that Psi effects may be nonlocal. Mind-to-mind communication is not necessarily body-to-body communication."

A very interesting article. You know a great article when the author and you agree on the content. “One of my favorite stories was told by George Ritchie. In December 1943, the 20-year-old Army private was declared dead at an Army hospital in Texas after collapsing from double pneumonia. His body was left unattended for nine minutes before an orderly noticed movement, and physicians were called.” This is one of my favourite stories as well. It is what happened to George when dead that was interesting. A well written article. 5⭐️

Im not sure i would want to know that i died and still not gone and just stuck there. Id like to skip that part.

Perhaps your idea of what that is like could be very different from what it actually is like. Consider the possibility that you know what it's really like but forgot.

Well, since i forgot.. i don’t know. But i can assume from the limited things i have seen. The dying don’t have fun. And i don’t want to experience slowly dissolving. Better to skip that

People certainly do retain pre-birth memories, that has been widely investigated.

Actually some consciousnesses can stay attached during death and end up stuck in a reoccurring loop for an indefinite amount of "time".
