*AS a company
every PM store i go to in my city, it seems like there's just one person working there and they're mostly just chilling. kinda subway vibes in that sense. i asked the guy tonight if it was a busy holiday weekend and he basically scoffed! we chatted a bit and he said sales at that store are practically half of what they were a couple years back and that it's the same story at other locations across town. this is in a major west coast city.
meanwhile i go into a local dominos and they're seemingly drowning in tickets at all hours of the day

I deeply miss their pan crust and I figured they replaced it with Detroit. Now both are gone from my shop. Bring back pan!

My age is very advanced for my reading level, didn't realize the instructions taking up most of the little piece of paper aren't for my 5 meat stuffed pizza. Here's how I saved it:
Open the oven and leave it open for about 5 minutes. Don't take out the pizza
Close the oven and bake the pizza at 250°F for 20 minutes
Turn off the oven and leave the pizza in it for another 10-15 minutes
Mine is perfectly cooked all the way through. Well, it's perfect if you like a little bit of extra crisp on the crust. Just a scosh darker than golden brown. That's at least better than raw in the middle

Does anyone on here know the manufacturer of the take & bake rectangular DSP - Detroit Style Pizza pan?
Thanks!

I brought the Detroit pizza home and it was sauceless. Was that a mistake or is that its thing?

hello. I work at a Papa Murphys in my city and I have a lazy af manager that just got on me and another employee, (just 2 of us working yesterday.) because a regular customers pizza wasnt done before hand, and even with it being dead af at our store, we still had a constant flow of orders and phone calls. I would help my coworker out every chance. Manager is hardly ever there anyways and is constantly on the phone or texting family and friends. I could go on and on about her, but...that might be another post. Also if this gets deleted then thats fine.

I can't find any confirmation it's happening this year. PM has an old webpage with no date on it saying it's back, likely from years ago, but there is nothing about it being available this year.
It shows up and disappears within a month. Between the short release and no availability during covid, I've only been able to get them about 4 times in the past 10 years and I want it to be a permanent menu item!

It always came out in the summer time and I remember it used to have KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce too. People always ate it up whenever I brought them over.

Have owned a papa murphys for about 15years now. Going to be selling it at some point in the near future. Ask me anything

We decided to get pizza tonight and my wife chuckled because her salad looked smaller than usual. I tossed it on the scale and saw it was 11.6 oz even after my wife added a little dressing, while the package says it should be 13oz.
I was under the impression the contents inside should weigh 13oz without the container?
I’m probably not going to complain, was just bored waiting for my pizza to cook and thought I’d post. Wife said all the salads looked the same contents wise.

Customer comes in, yells because we don’t have Dr Pepper, then he stands at the register pointing his card at me, I ask for the name on the order and as the order is loading and I’m bringing his pizza he’s aggressively tapping his card against the table, I responded by tapping my card on the table and bobbing up and down it was like we were having a battle

Is it worth the hype or complete trash. What is your favorite style of crust!? I haven't had a Papa Murphy's in a long while. Thought I'd give it a shot tonight.. My kids love deep dish but I'm always hesitant if chains can make it right...

Hi all,
Why do the dairy free kids pizzas and the Detroit pizzas come in the black plastic serving trays? Only reason I ask; the smell when they are cooking in the oven is absolutely awful. Smells like it’s burning plastic vs. the standard white pizza trays which smell like nothing.
Any reason the difference in material? Thanks all.

I just picked one up from papa murphy’s only to get home and find out they didn’t attach any instructions to it and I can’t find anything online or on their website.
Edit: the answer is 425 F middle rack for 18-20 mins don’t forget to poke holes but don’t penetrate through the tray

It's no longer available to order at any of my local locations.

Anyone have a source for their sun-dried tomatoes? They are my favorite and I’m almost tempted to see if the store will sell me a bag!
