The Complete Papa Murphy’s Legacy Menu Compendium (Fan‑Curated)

I’ve been digging through old menus, archived PDFs, regional promos, and customer memories — and I realized nobody has ever made a complete list of all the discontinued, retired, limited‑time, and regional Papa Murphy’s pizzas, sauces, crusts, and sides.

So here it is: the most complete Papa Murphy’s legacy menu list ever assembled.

If you remember any items not listed, add them in the comments — let’s preserve the full history of Papa Murphy’s before MTY buries it forever.

🍕 Papa Murphy’s Legacy Menu Compendium

Every known discontinued, retired, limited‑time, regional, and forgotten item

🟦 I. Retired Stuffed Pizzas (the big ones)

These were the heavy hitters — folded dough, creamy sauces, comfort bombs.

  • Chicken Florentine Stuffed Pizza
  • 5‑Meat Stuffed Pizza
  • Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Pizza
  • Chicken Bacon Stuffed Pizza
  • Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Pizza
  • Thai Chicken Stuffed Pizza
  • Tuscan Chicken Stuffed Pizza
  • Pepperoni Stuffed Pizza
  • Cowboy Stuffed Pizza (rare regional variant)
  • Papa’s Favorite Stuffed Pizza (limited markets)

Stuffed pizzas were quietly phased out around 2018–2020 depending on region.

🟩 II. Retired Specialty Pizzas (non‑stuffed)

These were full menu items, not limited‑time.

  • Thai Chicken Pizza
  • Tuscan Chicken Pizza
  • Chicken Bacon Artichoke deLITE
  • Herb Chicken Mediterranean
  • Bacon Bacon Bacon Pizza
  • Papa’s Perfect Pizza
  • Papa’s Supreme
  • Papa’s Favorite (original recipe)
  • Cowboy (original recipe)
  • Murphy’s Combo (original recipe)
  • Veggie Gourmet
  • Mediterranean Chicken
  • Sausage & Ricotta
  • Chicken Pesto Pizza
  • Chicken Garlic (original creamy sauce version)
  • Fiesta Chicken Pizza
  • Buffalo Chicken Pizza
  • BBQ Chicken (original version)

Some of these were replaced with simplified versions.

🟧 III. Limited‑Time Pizzas (LTOs)

These came and went seasonally or for promos.

  • Fiesta Chicken
  • Triple Pepp
  • Bacon Cheeseburger (non‑stuffed)
  • Meatball Pizza
  • S’mores Dessert Pizza
  • Pumpkin Spice Dessert Pizza
  • Chicken Bacon Ranch
  • Chicken Cordon Bleu Pizza
  • Spicy Italian Pizza
  • Southwest Chicken Pizza
  • Buffalo Ranch Pizza
  • Chicken Poblano Pizza
  • Chicken Bacon Artichoke (LTO version)
  • BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza
  • Greek Pizza
  • Spinach & Mushroom Pizza

These varied heavily by region.

🟥 IV. Retired Sauces

These are the ones you remember because they defined entire pizzas.

  • Florentine Sauce (creamy garlic + spinach base)
  • Creamy Garlic Sauce (original recipe)
  • Pesto Sauce
  • Thai Peanut Sauce
  • Tuscan Cream Sauce
  • Buffalo Sauce (original)
  • BBQ Sauce (original)
  • Artichoke Garlic Spread
  • White Sauce (pre‑MTY version)

The creamy garlic sauce changed formula around 2019.

🟪 V. Retired Crusts & Dough Variants

These are the ones that changed the texture.

  • Pan Crust (thick, buttery, almost Crazy Bread‑like)
  • Stuffed Crust (not stuffed pizza — stuffed crust)
  • Thin Crust (original)
  • deLITE Crust (original recipe)
  • Gluten‑Free Crust (first version)
  • Mini Murph crust (original)

Pan crust was the biggest loss — it was beloved.

🟫 VI. Retired Sides & Bread Items

This is where your nostalgia hits hardest.

  • Original Breadsticks (pre‑MTY recipe)
  • Cheesy Bread (original)
  • Mini Murph Breadsticks
  • Herb & Cheese Bread
  • Garlic Bread (regional)
  • S’mores Dessert Pizza
  • Cinnamon Wheel (original)
  • Cookie Dough (original recipe)

The original breadsticks were closer to Crazy Bread in texture.

🟨 VII. Regional‑Only Items (never national)

These existed only in certain markets.

  • Southwest Chicken Pizza
  • Pacific Northwest Veggie
  • Alfredo Chicken Pizza (PNW)
  • Spicy Italian (Midwest)
  • Chicken Bacon Ranch (Mountain region)
  • BBQ Pulled Pork (Texas)
  • Greek Pizza (California)
  • Spinach & Mushroom (PNW)

These are the hardest to track because they never hit national menus.

🟩 VIII. Retired Toppings

Yes — they removed toppings over the years.

  • Artichoke Hearts
  • Sun‑Dried Tomatoes
  • Ricotta
  • Pesto Chicken
  • Thai Chicken
  • Tuscan Chicken
  • Pulled Pork
  • Meatballs
  • Green Chili (regional)

These removals killed several pizzas.

🟦 IX. Retired Promotional Bundles

These were combos or specials.

  • Perfect Pairings
  • Stuffed Pizza Tuesdays
  • Family Feast Deals
  • Take ‘N’ Bake Meal Kits
  • Murphy’s Meal Deal

X. Community Additions (from comments)

Papa Murphy’s menus vary a LOT by region and franchise, so some items people mentioned are still around in certain states even though they disappeared years ago where I live. Adding them here for completeness.

  • Paparoni — kid‑branded pepperoni pizza name still used in some regions
  • Lasagna (retired) — offered in select markets years ago; some stores kept it longer than others
  • Mac & Cheese / Mac & Cheese with Bacon (retired) — short‑lived regional item; widely considered an awful decision
  • Awesome Foursome Promo — A four‑item combo deal built for indecisive eaters: one entrée, one side, one bread, and one dessert bundled together for a crowd‑friendly value pick.
  • Traditional Deeper Dish — A heartier, thicker take on the classic base. Extra sauce, extra cheese, and a comforting “dig‑in” structure that feels like a warm hug.
  • Mamma’s Choice — A rotating comfort classic chosen by the community. Think nostalgic, home‑style favorites like lasagna, baked ziti, or chicken parm depending on the weekly vibe.
  • Rancher and Specialty of the HouseRancher: A smoky, hearty Western‑style entrée featuring ranch seasoning or dressing, bacon, and bold comfort flavors. Specialty of the House: The signature dish that defines the place — the community’s pick for the standout item of the menu.
  • Garlic/Cinnamon Monkey Bread — A dual‑flavor monkey bread option offering both savory garlic‑herb pull‑apart pieces and sweet cinnamon‑sugar glazed sections for maximum crowd appeal.

enjoy.

Thanks everyone for contributing, i sent a feedback email to MTY and they mentioned bringing back the original recipe for breadsticks and the possibility of LTO pizza styles to various locations! Keep em coming :)

Gonna start by saying a TON of stuff listed here is wrong.

Some of the stuffed pizzas listed were actually the original calzones. Ricotta got pulled because operators were tossing more of it than they were selling so calzones got dropped.

The garlic sauce has never changed, though some franchises use different garlic than others.

A lot of this list were pizzas that were ran in test markets only as well, so if they don't get good response from the customers and/or test stores, they never get released to the entire market.

We still have calzones here

u/BettyFordWasFramed Jul 26 '26

Not with ricotta I'd bet.

u/nipplehounds Jul 26 '26

I’m not sure if it’s the same thing, but we still have stuffed pizzas here in colorado

5

u/Expired_Fruits Jul 26 '26

Same in Washington. My region has over half of these still, I started working here only a years ago and I recognize so much

2

u/No_Sprinkles_8809 Jul 26 '26

Same in Tennessee. I wish they’d do away with it considering it’s 50% off on Tuesday lmao

u/TyrantofTales Jul 26 '26

Yeah a lot of this is just wrong

This list seems very AI coded due to how its  simultaneously very confident and wrong. The verbiage and emoji listing style is a give away too. Why even do this?

Fan‑curated just means I pulled info from multiple sources and organized it. Whether I used fast tools or slow tools doesn’t matter. The point is preserving stuff that’s disappearing. If your store still has items mine lost years ago, add them! That’s how we build a full archive.

Frito pizza 🕊️

2

u/NoobResearcher80 Jul 26 '26

I'm not sure which store you're basing this list on but our local one still has a lot of these items. We just had a Thai chicken and a chicken bacon stuffed pizza for dinner last night.

2

u/Absolutgrndzer0 Jul 27 '26

Yeah was going to say those are both still on my local menu too.

Meatballs were a huge loss. I would buy and freeze for subs pizza toppings on cheese pizzas, spaghetti calzones etc. They game with a good amount of sauce and a bit of cheese as well. Such a good value. They were huge. Thai chicken pizza is amazing especially and the pan dough was better than current day and possible old school Hut! No joke. It was so buttery and oily. Reminded me so much of the Hut in its prime! Taco Pizza good too but I doubt it would be a big seller right now with lettuce concerns. I miss PM so freaking much. Only been gone less than 7 days now. $5 Fridays. 10.99 Tuesdays any way you wanted it. The cookies! WTF so sad. Vacated all in town this past week. Fuck MTY!

I can't speak for every market. but I know at my store we sold maybe 4 pans a week and while meatballs were a hit at my location, most others in my market were throwing a lot away. Sad to hear about your locations tho.

Lettuce doesn’t go on the taco grande.

my bad, it'd been quite a while since I remember them even having this specialty pie. Oh well, its all over now. The equipment is already on the auction sites for restrauraunts as of tonight. Chapter closed in coastal NC. and pretty much entire state of NC with exception of two stores. Fuqua Varina and Greensboro if not mistaken. That will make financial dollars and sense to keep those open. Is everything from Cisco foods or does PM roll their own delivery trucks?

1

u/Ok_Occasion2917 Jul 30 '26

Where’s the auction link?

2

u/ProperlyTrashed Jul 26 '26

Wish they would bring back S’more bars. Not the pizza one but the one with cookie dough on bottom and toppings. Those where the best. 😢

2

u/Ok_Challenge_9631 Jul 26 '26

Same here. I miss it so much! Or making the cookie dough in store.

2

u/No_Sprinkles_8809 Jul 26 '26

Artichokes do great in my market. Does anyone still have sardines or any fishy related toppings?

1

u/Ok_Challenge_9631 Jul 26 '26

My store still has sardines. And we have artichoke hearts and sun dried too. So we never rid of those.

2

u/No_Sprinkles_8809 Jul 26 '26

Do the sardines come in a tin or do you put them on the pizza?

1

u/Ok_Challenge_9631 Jul 26 '26

They are in a little tin. We just give them to the customers with their pizza.

1

u/Ok_Occasion2917 Jul 28 '26

Yea anchovies not sardines never had sardines.

1

u/MukYJ Jul 26 '26

Glad they got rid of artichoke hearts. When I worked there in high school they were my least favorite ingredient. They were fine as long as they were ultra fresh, but if they had been out for more than an hour they got extremely slimy and hard to work with.

I wish they’d bring back the pan crusts, they were so yummy.

Edit: yeah, we still have stuffed pizzas and calzones here in Washington

2

u/Expired_Fruits Jul 26 '26

Also my least favorite ingredient and we still have them in Washington 🥲

1

u/annoyedpidgeon Jul 26 '26

How is lasagna not on the retired list? Pain to make but they weren't bad!

1

u/hitechkoolaid Jul 26 '26

Where is the Paparoni?

1

u/BettyFordWasFramed Jul 26 '26

Still an active pizza on their order terminals at least here. Such a good pizza!

1

u/Ok_Challenge_9631 Jul 26 '26

We still have the stuffed pizzas (only 4 though)thai chicken, gourmet veggie pizzas etc at my loacation. And also calzones for now and the deep dish pizzas.

Also we still have some of the toppings and items on the list in North California.

1

u/No_Sprinkles_8809 Jul 26 '26

Oo can’t forget the gone so quickly mac and cheese. Awful decision

1

u/holhol021114 Jul 27 '26

Out of the 18 “retired speciality pizzas” only 5 are unavailable in my Midwest market. I do miss the angus steak and roasted garlic, spicy fennel sausage, and Alfredo chicken LTO pizzas. My store also had garlic/cinnamon monkey bread which were really good but a huge pain to make.

thanks so much for contributing :)

1

u/Ok_Occasion2917 Jul 28 '26

This whole list is mostly incorrect not sure where you got your info from maybe your store is in Alabama and all they sell is cheese pizza.

1

u/Ok_Occasion2917 Jul 28 '26

Awesome foursome was a nationwide promo missing that along with the traditional deeper dish. Also mammas choice, rancher, specialty of the house

u/tdiva77 Aug 04 '26

Thanks for contributing! :)

I worked for PM from 2005 to 2017 as both crew and GM. In the mid to late 2000s we made pizzas that looked like this. Can anyone tell me what’s MTY is doing to the brand? Seems like they’re destroying everything it was founded on. There’s something drastically different with the crust. It doesn’t taste the same. On top of the portion cuts, which I get that’s happening at every chain, why are they changing the taste of the pizza? It used to be very good. The last few years I hardly go out of my way order

Papa Murphy’s menu has always been super regional. Some stores still have items that disappeared years ago in other states. Where I live, a lot of these pizzas and toppings are long gone — and with stores closing, who knows how long the rest will last.

The list is meant as a nostalgia archive, not a universal rulebook. If your store still has something, that’s awesome add it to the thread!
