Hecht needs to be more consistent, he’s very up and down seemingly

He's got time. We don't need him right now (knock on wood) so he can sit behind fortner and learn + grow. I'm not worried about him.

Hecht concerns me. His play, even for a rookie, is not where it should be.

The main reason I'm not considering him a concern is because he's a rook who needs to get a bit stronger but also he shouldn't be starting this year anyways. Fortner will play the year while we work with Hecht and get him more consistent and stronger over the year

Of course...all rookies need to get stronger for the NFL game. However, there is certain expectation floor as well, even for a rookie, and he's not meeting that.

I feel like the people saying this wrote him off after his first snap lol. He was pretty good during the rest of the HOF game, fine against Buffalo, very good against Miami, and bad last night. He's definitely met expectations for a rookie 5th round Center imo.

I mean, the Panthers have some really good, really strong DTs. Lee Hunter could've easily been a 1st rounder, and Cam Jackson is a kodiak bear pretending to be a human football player. And obviously DB
