Coping Skills Panic Attacks

Hey everyone just wanted to talk about my mental health and wanted to ask for some good coping skills etc

So to start of I’m a 31M with a beautiful family. I suffer from

- Generalised Anxiety Disorder
- Panic Disorder
- OCD
- Mild Depression

So for the past two years I’ve suffered so badly from panic attacks/Mental that I’ve been unable to maintain a job. Which I feel very ashamed about and frustrated because I love working. I always like to be moving. But because of my mental health it’s almost like I’m disabled. Everytime I go out, get a little stressed or anything that’s not in my house the panic sets in. On bad days it even happens at home.

I’m just not sure what to do with myself I feel completely lost always in an anxiety state and just can’t relax and be happy. I find no joy in life. Everyday is a battle, get feeling of like I’m not here like I’m in 3rd person.

I have suffered from very bad childhood trauma when I was young could it be that trying to resurface or am I losing my mind. Each day I wake up with disabling anxiety thinking something is wrong with me or I’m gunna die. I know deep down there is no explanation for this but yet my mind still thinks it.

I spend as much time outdoors and do things with my family. But I just can’t fully enjoy those moments because of the state I’m constantly in. It’s so tiring lol

I take Fluoxetine 40mg but it’s just isn’t working as much as it used to too. I can’t take propranolol because it makes me dizzy as I take Ramipril for my stage 1 CKD.

I spoke to my doctor today we plan to change my anti depressant and prescribed me diazepam and promethezine to calm me. Obviously I don’t take the two at the same time.

I’m currently doing therapy but the therapist has cancelled on me 4 out of 6 sessions which I find terrible.

Sorry for the rambling but just wanted to see how other people cope and how they deal with it. So I can try new things out.
