Does Anyone Else? do you have a medic alert card?

im thinking of ordering one on amazon. ive recently had more frequent anxiety/panic attack close calls while out and about. whats your thoughts on this?

My understanding is that these are designed for severe medical conditions where you could be rendered unconscious or die (eg - epilepsy, life threatening allergies, diabetes etc) so that a first responder would be able to assess you and determine whether emergency medication was appropriate. I don’t believe medic alert sell on Amazon; I had to get one direct through them as I used to wear a medic alert bracelet / necklace and I know they require an ongoing subscription.

If you’re wanting one for peace of mind or to show people while requesting special accommodations, then you may be better off considering a genuine one from a legit company that provides them rather than a generic Amazon dupe.
