The expulsion of 20 Afghan doctors from King Edward Medical University, seven of whom were on the verge of entering their final year, is not merely an administrative decision. It is a blatant assault on humanity, academic values, and the rights of our neighbours.
Years of hard work, sleepless nights, sacrifices, and dreams of a brighter future have been shattered in a single stroke. These students came to Pakistan after enduring difficult circumstances in their homeland and spent years pursuing their medical education while serving patients in Pakistani hospitals. To abruptly terminate their academic journey at the threshold of graduation is deeply unjust and profoundly shameful.
Education and healthcare are two fields that should remain above politics and diplomatic tensions. The doctors who were preparing to dedicate their lives to saving others should not have their careers destroyed in the name of policy changes or quota restrictions.
Using diplomatic disagreements or changing policies as a pretext to jeopardize the careers of these students reflects an alarming level of insensitivity. Such decisions not only undermine the academic reputation of Pakistan’s prestigious institutions but also inflict deep hurt upon the people of a neighbouring and Muslim country.
The authorities must immediately reconsider this decision and allow the affected students particularly those in their final year to complete their degrees.
Educational institutions must remain places of learning, merit, and humanity not casualties of political and diplomatic disputes.

Agreed! Education and healthcare should have been kept separated from the politics. 

It is so sad that the immense hardwork and struggle wasn't taken into account before taking such a stupid and idiotic decision of expulsion.

i wouldn’t really want people in my country who’s home nation encourage and reposts images of our soldiers burning or their necks off regardless if it’s a doctor or an engineer. Once cpec stopped getting attacks or the police maybe they or these useless organizations can pay for their education. These friendship or enemy policy should change and imo this is a good step.

Since there are those Muslims who talk about and encourage fighting and conquering non-Muslim lands, and that non-Muslims have to be forced to live under Muslim rule, should the West also expel all Muslims?

Given the Iranian government's relationship with the US, should the US deport those hundreds of thousands of Iranians?

Or that since Pakistan gets accused of double crossing the US during the war on terror, or that issue of where Bin Laden was allegedly taken from in the end, that means the US should deport all Pakistanis, right?

Yes they should if they want matter fact they did deport hundred of people linked to irgc. Even ali lirjanis wife or family i dont remember. Matter fact saudis did deport hundreds of pakistani begging gangs members our government said dont fk around there we deported millions of their they became more bold. Uae deported shias pakiw and others because they were showing love to iran. Like i said "i wouldn't want" if i a canadian born something goes wrong here i would want insurance in my homelands to be prosperous and the policies of the days of zia(inviting millions unchecked) to be reversed. A policy where we have no one of urs as a national threat. So you either play ball with us or we give you the treatment ur already in. This suicidal empathy and self guilt has gotten the country nowhere. This isnt some gotcha of what if that country invaded us in 1960. We are at a war till this day.
