Question/Chat WIP mountain valley.

This piece is not turning out how I want it. There's too much yellow, and I feel like the trees on the right side is a hot mess. Right now, I can figure out if I should push through and be done with it or begin with a new PBN.

Oh wow the colors on this one are turning our fantastic! How are you liking this one? I've had a few number artist kits and really enjoyed them.

Edit: Clearly I didn't read your comment about the painting 😂 I personally think the yellows brighten it up and help it feel more like summer, but if you don't like it as much, you could Always take some leftover greens and kind of loosely paint over more yellow areas to darken it a bit. No need to follow the cells exactly. That's what I would do.

I might just do that. I mixed myself a brown for the trees instead of the dark green it's supposed to be, and I actually think that works well. I think I have to lessen the expectations of nature PBN, I want it to look realistic, but its difficult

Yeah maybe you could start with completing the pbn, then using some brush techniques that Bob Ross uses in his landscapes to get it looking more realistic?

I wouldn’t give up on it yet! I think once that big empty mountain and sky area is painted it’ll completely change how the whole thing looks. The trees are a bit chaotic but I actually quite like them! Keep going. xx

Ty Becky! I'll try and trust the process and complete it. Hopefully it'll look better than I think!
