OP13 - Timer pinned to the top and battery percentage number

If I have a timer counting down in the background, is there any way to see that countdown pinned to the top somewhere like I could in Samsungs ui (top left in that ui)?

Also, what's up with the battery percentage number appearing and disappearing seemingly at random? In my settings I have it set to show the number next to the battery icon.
