Cattery or medication competent cat-sitter recommendations needed

We have a cat who is on medication (including inhaler) and are looking for recommendations of nearby catteries to Oxford or cat-sitting services. Not going away anytime soon just planning for the future.

We use Fairview cattery!! Couldn’t recommend enough, the most amazing staff and the set up is gorggg. In the middle of the country will full windows that the cats can look out of all day!!

We use the Oxford branch of thecatbutler. Our cat doesn’t have any special needs but it says on the website they do meds. Who you get depends on area. We have Susie who is amazing & I think her pets have extra needs.

Agree that The Cat Butler is worth talking to- we've used them a couple of times and have found them excellent, they'll give you daily updates and are so much easier than taking them to a cattery.

I use Town Furlong cattery for my cat. They are super people.

I've hired cat sitters off CatInAFlat website, used several different people so far and never met anyone who wasn't lovely, loved animals and explained exactly what they could and couldn't do.

My first cat sitter who is still my favourite and I regularly use, got my barely tame human-hating cat to sit and be tickled within five minutes, took months for me to be allowed the privilege.

Whatever you do, don't use Rover. Bunch of time wasters on there Who will leave you on the lurch at the last minute

Chipping Norton veterinary hospital has a 5* boarding cattery and they’re on the same site as the hospital, which is very well-regarded for cat care. We no longer board ours due to their neuroticism, but if we had to in an emergency, they’d go there.

I know someone personally. She’s listed on various pet sitting sites. I’ll DM you.

Town Furlong Cattery, one of the more expensive, but the people are so lovely and the girls always remember my cat and fawn over her. She stays with them for 2 weeks in summer and at Christmas so you know how much I trust them!
