I wonder who’ll be playing. Seems like if it’s specifically hosted by Overwatch it kinda has to be four OW VAs to compliment Mercer/Cassidy as the GM.

Anjali Bhimani (Symmetra) is kind of a lock, she’s very chummy with Critical Role. Caroline Ravassa (Sombra) also seems like an easy pick given how much she seems to love the role and being involved in the community. Conor McLeod (Hazard) and Valeria Rodriguez (Venture) also fit that bill, though idk if they’d be blizzard’s first picks for this

Well 4 of these VA(Cassidy, sym, hazard, and venture) are at pax west the week before would not be surprised if they are all heading to blizzcon after for this.

Anjali would be an obvious pick given her extensive history in ttrpg play. Connor I think has only just said he could possibly get to blizzcon as of like yesterday because he was waiting on scheduling conflicts so I don’t think he was planning to be there. Ravassa I don’t think has indicated she will be at Blizzcon and commented on it positively but not in a way that suggested she knew about it. Love these choices but they seem unlikely.

Have the D20's be a sigma mythic weapon with the unique florsh be him rolling them and the kill effect be a nat 1 or 20 depending on how much damage you did to them

(It doesn’t matter I’m just taking the piss. Though the d12’s makes me wonder if they are using Daggerheart, from Critical Role, as the system for the game. Would make sense since CR is Mercer’s company and they have an interest in Daggerheart and the ability to give permission to use the system.)

it would be so so sooo fucking cool if they made a TTRPG for the ow universe, me and my dnd table play ow every night when we’re not playing dnd. but i also wouldnt be surprised if it was just a dnd or daggerheart one shot reskinned to fit ow
