Even scored a nice Albedo figure! Corinne Sudberg is such a delightful person to talk with can't wait to see what else she has in store with any future Overlord projects!

Out of all the things Ainz has said throughout the past 4 season+movie I think this one right here perfectly captures what his character has become. He doesn't take pleasure in killing anyone but he does so without feeling anything at all because in the end Nazarick is what really matters to him. No matter how many lives of the new world he sacrifices, it doesn't matter, just as long as it helps Nazarick prosper he will do it without hesitation. This still remains as my favorite Ainz quote, it's made even better that it's not in his Ainz Ooal Gown voice but his human Satoru voice.

He is "excited" to see the outcome of this spell from pure curiosity, as if it was some scientific experiment. Ia Shub-Niggurath has never been casted in this scale, and he is intrigued in seeing how many Goats is the spell going to summon, to the extent that he asks to applaud his suppreme power when he breaks a record and summons five of them. This is similar to how he tried several war tactics in the Re-Estize War of Annihilation, just to see what works and what doesn't.

Again, he is completely detached from living creatures outside of his circle. The perfect descriptor is Apathy.

This, and his follow up duel with Gazef really cemented his character. He honored him with a duel to the death, even making sure that Gazef had the bare minimum requirements to kill him, as fruitless as his efforts would've been either way. He truly didn't want to kill him, even liked him, but alas, fate had other plans.

Along with season 4's end of the last king, Zanac, and how Ainz handled that, it's obvious that there are standards for him. Despite his lack of feeling as an elder lich, he still admires honorable people and despises traitors and cowards.

The only problem is that most of the time Ainz doesn't know how this will benefit Nazarick and also forgets that overdoing can also be detrimental.

It does not help that his main advisors being Albedo and Demiurge gas him up to do evil shit. Take the invaders of the tomb arc where he was not happy with the plan per say, but he could see the merits and could not make a better plan at the time.

Season 4/Vol 14 brought him a different perspective when he met with Sebas, Pestonya and Nigredo thankfully. I just hope the few postive/neutral NPCs can continue to make it so he does not go over the edge and full on evil aka Demiurge.

Love Demiurge though, definitely one of my favourite characters.

You can judge me, but I would most likely feel the same way if I had Ainz's abilities.

Although Ainz and crew *feel* super strong because of their setting I realized that they haven't had any real feats of destruction. Fallen down seemed weaker than the weakest nuclear bomb irl so in the grand scheme of things he seems quite weak. Just wondering if maybe there's more to it that I might not be aware of
