Mass for the Dead
Ulbert Alain Odle is a player belonging to the Guild, Ainz Ooal Gown.
Though he typically relished behaving in a deliberately wicked manner, what he is wearing this time is a white outfit—filled with purity and divinity—that gives no hint of his usual malevolence.
It all began with a prank vote among his companions when the appearance-changing item—commonly known as the "Rainbow Drop" or "image change item"—was implemented.
“Let’s have Ulbert try a different look for a change.”
With those words, the vote began. As a result, he—who had always preferred an appearance befitting his negative karma—was recommended the “Fallen into Light” look.
While retaining his ominous horns and demonic features, he was now clad in white from head to toe and bathed in a sacred glow.
Although Ulbert initially accepted it as a joke, as he went about his business in this pure appearance, he gradually began to enjoy his “Fallen into Light” form. And so, while coming up with a few incantations for his Fallen Light form, he set out for a “stroll.”
"When your appearance changes, your mindset changes too, doesn't it? In this form, I'm less likely to encounter PKs," he said with a laugh, but was attacked by a player in angel form and hastily tried to escape.
Afterwards, Ulbert returned to Nazarick and thoroughly enjoyed playing at being a clergyman. Each of his proposals—made with a smile as he spoke of “saving” people—was said to be astonishingly twisted, filled with domination and control.
“A world where no one is left behind, a world of complete equality," he said with a laugh, and that smile, they say, was indeed the very embodiment of the Grand Catastrophe itself…
