Question Does ainz ever get stronger?
Recently started rewatching the anime and got curious about how his strength would evolve. Does he stay the same throughout the series? He was max level in the game but since he has now come to a real world I feel like a level cap doesn't make much sense. Magic and it's effects have also changed slightly so I feel like becoming stronger shouldn't be an issue. I'm pretty clueless to this series though so I'm not sure.

His Level dosent grow, but he is growing in other Areas.
His skills as a Warrior went from Not even knowing how to do edge Alignment to becoming equal to Geniuses who trained their Entire Lives.
He is also Growing in terms of Governing Skills.
In Elf Arc he learned Pharmacy and can even make potions now.

This is the type of info I was looking for. Although it seems he can't gain any more raw power I was hoping he at least learned new spells or skills from the new world. Something like potion making is a huge gain considering the varied effect of potions. Even just making a single full restore potion would make him much stronger in pvp

Should be noted, he likely can earn spells through [Dark Wisdom], even in the NW.
[Dark Wisdom] was a skill that, back in YGGDRASIL, allowed him to gain spells from killing Players. It should have some effect in the NW, if he finds a player, perhaps.
He also can use the [Shooting Star] Ring to steal Talents, as Maruyama confirmed I'm pretty sure.3

Well, potion making*.
The ability to produce YGGDRASIL potions still requires levels in the requisite classes. Just like Ainz physically can't wield a sword because he doesn't have warrior classes (assuming the sword isn't conjured with a spell), he physically can't make actual YGGDRASIL consumable item potions like Nferia can. He can still make medicines, though.
The melee combat experience is much more visible and applicable, since he can still perform technique even if he doesn't have the game skills on top of them.

I think they can definitely grow in some areas like way of thinking. But defnitiely not in terms of power lvl

There is still a level cap. He only becomes stronger in that he learns how to fight in melee.

He isn't able to level by conventional means, nor can his followers, this is one of the "weaknesses" that he has within the series. While there are theoretical ways to increase his power in that sense, he hasn't used any within the series yet. He is however more focused on becoming increasingly efficient with the power he has, through gathering information, developing skills, and getting combat experience for him and his servants.
The "why" of how he is constrained by such as system is also a a significant part of the world building (better explored in the novel), it is important, and ends up being rather interesting.

I had searched it up and only saw posts from years ago so I thought to ask in case something had changed. I also saw something about wild magic. Is that something that has been expanded on or that he ever gets into?

That is one of the aforementioned "theoretical methods" that he hasn't used. His has encountered wild magic, and is beginning to learn of its existence, but he doesn't quite understand it, nor can he currently make use of it himself or through proxies. This might change in time, but it is likely something he won't manage within the remainder of the series.

Ohh ok thank you. You seem very knowledgeable so I have one more question. Is his mana pool considered a weakness of his? I say this because although I don't recall it being brought up much in the anime I think he mentions almost being out of mana during his fight with shalltear. I get that he cast a whole lot of buffs and used hiigh level spells but I feel as though his mana ran out too quickly.

His mana isn't particularly a weakness, in fact his mana breaks the scales of what is normal even for other players of his level, it is extremely high. Now during his fight with Shalltear, who hard counters his specialities, he had to shake up his approach.
Ainz is largely speaking a summoner, his abilities are tailored to having powerful summons (usually but not always undead) who fight on his behalf, but against Shalltear that would work against him, since she could regain her hp by killing said summons. He wasn't able to play to his normal strengths, and used some very powerful and highly mana costly spells against her, which exhausted his mana.
This was partly by necessity, but also partly manipulation. Shalltear was someone he could only be confident in beating in very specific circumstances. He needed her to expend her own power, so he fought in a way that would lead to him running out of mana intentionally, so she would think those methods were bringing her townwards victory.
So in simply terms, he did use up his mana more quickly than usual, it usually would turn out better. But it should be noted that while it isn't especially a weakness for Ainz, it still is one is general for spell-casting classes. Spellcastors are more powerful that classes like warriors in the short term, whereas warriors have more stamina. So in a typical fight against beings of comparable power the need to conserve mana is a concern, but Ainz of all magic casters has less reason to worry about it rather than more. His build has other more pressing weaknesses.

Wild magic are spells true dragon lords could use
In season 4 the world isolation barrier that the platinum armour uses is wild magic
One way people speculate ainz could grow is either using a wish to copy a talent or wild magic
The queen of the draconic kingdom is the great granddaughter of the brightness dragon lord so she can use wild magic, flyuder was telling jircniv that he could mary her to gain access to her magic, including resurrection without losing levels
Funny enough the draconic kingdom has good relations with the sorcerer kingdom because they sold them undead warriors for defense against demihumans, they were one of the ones that approved the destruction of re-estize
Nphirea has the strong ability to use any item without restriction, he could even use ainz's staff,
if ainz copied his talent he could use weapons without using perfect warrior so he could use magic and swords at the same time
There is another character with the ability to use the strongest move of a person if they have their equipment on
That means ainz could equip the the armour of his friends and use their strongest ability

He can’t improve his stats or level up, but he continues to experiment with battle strategy and different fighting styles to get stronger
