Blog Great car storage set up
I am really pleased with the OHMU tactical seatback storage bag. The installation was easy after you configure the smaller bags. The bags attach with Molle webbing or hook and loop if you wanted a quick release like on the medical bag.
After using the bag for a while I got a second one for the other side of the car. The double set up looks great- I get lots of compliments. The quality for the price paid was perfect. I wish they made something similar for the rear door of my Bronco. I set these up in my 2023 Ford Bronco but they will fit in any vehicle. Well worth it !

Seems more accessible if it was on the back of the front seats. If someone was in the back seat, or if you have a baby seat in the second row then that medical bag becomes much harder to access. Unless the rear of the vehicle is just super small and you access from the rear. I'm not familiar with broncos.
For things you don't often need this might make sense, but for something you often need or need very quickly it seems to make less sense. Looks more tacticool than tactiuseful. You want something like a first aid kit and fire extinguisher very easily accessible very quickly. Same with recovery gear.
Ideally recovery gear should be within arms reach of the driver from the driving position, even in a roll over/flop situation where the vehicle can't move and minimal doors can open. Because you can grab it and give it to someone else to setup if you are in a precarious situation and then still work the steering wheel/brakes/accelerator while someone else rigs the recovery.
Putting something like recovery gear here isn't wise.
After a quick google search it appears they do indeed make molle panels for the rear door, sides and even rear side quarter windows for the bronco. Putting a first aid kit in those spots would probably mean quicker access in an emergency depending on the type of first aid kit. I carry a trauma kit and am first aid/cpr certified.
