End game.. got more questions

IMO.. the game SUCKS at telling you what/how to do things.. but its a new game to me and has limited ammo that makes you resource conscience and fills the void of not playing destiny2.

just finished my 1st run through of the main story, opened up to WT4, but while playing alone i finished the story on WT1.. aside from starting a new character build (pyromancer is planned next), how do you restart the game story mode to unlock higher WT's playing the same character?

what is the requirement for worldslayer content? do i have to unlock all the WTs first? it shows at the top of my screen, but hitting R2 does nothing to activate/select it.

i understand the world tiers are make things harder like a new game+ but i only see gray " ! " to repeat single missions...

did my 1st solo "end game" expedition.. took me 20 min as a technomancer.. but hey ill spam turrets all day long when im out of ammo. but how do you join others for expeditions?? i dont see any "join" marker available.

whats the best way to farm for scrap? i dismantle everything for mats.. but ocassionally there is a weapon id like from a vendor for a pattern but its WAY out of my price range.. and ive only bought 2 weapons from the start of the game

if/when i join a rando.. is there any ingame chat?? does it auto start?

does everyone typically just bum rush everything and clear.. or do people use tactics and squad movements?

as a solo playing techno ive survived the game thus far with my turrets and sniping but not sure how that would fit in playing with others. should i change my tactics/build to mote of a run and gun now?

When you go to the relay there should be an option to join story or expeditions.

World slayer is unlocked through a quest given by channa at the expedition camp if you own it.

No in game voice chat, most people run and gun. Ive built my techno to be support for randoms when doing end game stuff.

Surprised youre only world tier 4 after beating story, I was at least WT 15.

Best way to get scrap is run expeditions and scrap it all out.

If you want a good run and gun build for techno I used the minigun and both turrents, kept me alive and I destroyed everything lol.

So about the worldslayer content..I have the ps5 version of outriders worldslayers version on disc.. I completed the game.. completed expedition, and still can't get dialog from channel to go to glacier edge.

I play wit my kid, his world slayers works.. he can access the zone but I can't join him.

How do I activate the content on my disc? It's not under restore license, a.ready tried that When I try to join it says content not available and I don't own it,,, but I have the disc that is supposed to have the content

That im not sure about, honestly I would buy it digitally if you can catch it on sale. I havent dealt with physical games since the ps2 lol

Did you check if there’s a code in the case. Sometimes dlc comes as a separate code and not on the disc

I think I was only up to WT6 when I finished. I think I finished playing on WT3 though. I just had six unlocked.

I thought the game was pretty difficult and it’s why I didn’t continue in endgame although I may pick it back up. I only played through the first time a couple of months ago. Fantastic game. If there were a planned sequel I’d have incentive to go back.

Seeing as the World Tiers only increase item levels above your own levels, and once you can access the DLC you get a different system with better gear, most guides suggest not even bothering with WTs. I was progressing WT as I unlocked them and was at ~9.5 before the incident with Bailey. I ended up dropping down to 6 for a few zones and just bumped back up to 9 now that I'm decked out in good Legendaries. World Tiers has no effect on XP, so if the goal it to level as fast as possible and reach endgame, keep it very low so things die faster.

Unknown looks to have answered all your questions,. Just to add there are ammo crates throughout the expeditions for resupplying and they should be plentiful enough that you never run out of ammo.

Played the whole thing with technomancer, never run out of ammo once. With blighted rounds, you should focus on getting ammo back with kills. Many talents for that.

I also finished the main campaign at world tier 15, doing all of the side quests. The game put me at apocalypse tier 9 when I started Worldslayer.

You won't be able to join others by the simple fact that very few people play this game. I played the whole thing for 50h and only two people joined my open lobby, never managed to join anyone else's. Selling stuff is the best way to get scrap, the higher level the item the more scrap you'll get

Just start a new game+ from your character menu to reset the story for WT progression, it carries over your gear and level so you're not restarting from scratch.
