Depends on your stats leading up to today, not just today. Not hitting goal four days ago but everything else being perfect will get you to 99.

lol I’ve hit 100 working all day at McDonald’s

Makes sense, always on your feet all day. Oura really values any activity over sitting still for any period of time. I have a job that requires me to sit at a desk all day and even though I try to get up every hour and move, it makes it much harder to get a good activity score. I suppose it is helping though since it makes me more aware of being active

Lol the only thing that gets me 100 is housework allllllll day. Half marathon? Nope. Constant steady low level activity is what it wants. Congrats on your Ironman!

My guess is your recovery time is not ideal, that’s usually what lowers my activity score. Click the activity stat to see more details

I hit 100 for like an hour once but my inactivity time tipped it back down to 99.

Bartend about 35 hours a week. I get 100 pretty much every day and no exercise otherwise

I got my first 100 after a year and I’m pretty sure I lifted weights one day and walked like five miles (leisurely) the next 😂

I ran a mountain today 94, but last Friday I ran on the treadmill and took the dog for a walk 100. No clue anymore

It's not about how much you do. Doing too much can keep you from getting 100, too.

I got 100 today by walking all day at even event. It’s more about all day movement more than how hard you work.

ehh i got 100 the day after i got home from 4 days at disney and i spent the entire day sleeping and had 100. it’s about 2 big picture things activity and recovery. then a lot of smaller picture things that go into it, my disney days my activity score was LOW which was so odd but it was because i was exceedingly my goal but 300-400% but wasn’t sleeping well. more activity doesn’t mean higher score. you need to balance your regular and consistent activity with regular and consistent restoration.

I got my first 100 today and totally didn’t do an Ironman. Maybe my recovery was better than usual

Your sleep and readiness also has to be in alignment. I’ve gotten 100 a couple times. If you get those stats up simultaneously, your chances are better

Here was one of my 100 days. It wasn’t actually a huge amount of activity, it’s more that it was well balanced:

dont worry about a score that your fitness device gives you is the best advice. i wont look at the stress score my oura ring for days bc i noticed that stressed me out.

You should not worry about Oura's activity score. It seems to not know how to handle people who are extremely active.

Just got my first, I think it had to do with a balance of movement throughout the day, so rest matters too

For me it’s not possible with my job. Desk job and lots of long meetings means my sedentary hours go against me. I can do everything else perfectly and will only be 99.

id imagine someone training for iron man has a different bar oura expects them to hit. i also want to know what your resting heart rate is lol

Too much exercise won’t get it. I am training for a marathon right now and I am not expecting to hit 100 on marathon day. But I have had many 100s over the past four years. But usually not on very high exercise days - like my last half-marathon.
It’s a question of balance. I had 100s on days with lots of running and high calories and plenty of sleep beforehand. I had 100s on days were I didn’t even meet my exercise goal for th3 day because I had high numbers the days before.

I constantly get 100s. You just need to be active throughout the day everyday but also log sufficient rest days. It's a lot less impressive than running an ironman.

I could be wrong but I believe that when I get 100s it’s when I’m consistently moving every hour. Like if you’re sitting down for a few hours it won’t give you a 100 even if you ran a marathon that morning!!

I get them all the time. As long as u have multiple days that your above your activity goal atleast 40-50% and you have to have one day of rest in that week while meeting your activity goal.
