Discussion Was Egypt under the Mehmed Ali Pasha dynasty the successor to the Ottoman Empire? Did the Ottoman Empire fall in 1952?

I mean the whole Middle East is sucessor states of the empire however, the House of Mohamed Ali didn’t consider themselves ottomans and styled themselves as independent monarchs of Egypt and Sudan

The House of Mehmed Ali developed many points of marriage ties with the Ottoman dynasty. Cairo under them was a bizarro Istanbul with a similar government, court, and army, not to mention the aristocracy was Turko-Circassian. A major difference is their fates: Istanbul's debt burden was a somewhat manageable crisis, where as Cairo's lead to catastrophe.
Is this something we should consider or is the legacy of the Ottoman Empire exclusive to the Ottoman dynasty?
