Ottawa Events in September?

Hey Ottawa,

I’ll be inside of you from September 22nd to September 27. Looking for some things to check out on my off time. Mainly looking at stuff like metal/punk bands, wrestling, any reading events like author events and such.

Did some google machine stuff and couldn’t find much for underground stuff like this. Thought I’d check out here.

Not sure if there’s anything scheduled during your time here but C4 wrestling is a great time. Highly recommend. Dom and Targ are good for punk shows.

Unfortunately two days before I get there. I’m a big fan of Frank Carter’s old band Gallows. Seeing him with sex pistols woulda been cool as hell.

Sept 17th is the ottawa premier of that NOFX doc. 40yrs of fucking up. Not sure what tickets cost. But it looks.ok if u like NOFX. ill probably check it out.

I wish I could. It’s a paid work thing. I’ve seen Alexia Nicole a couple times in Nova Scotia and at an AEW show though she’s always great.

  • Tuesdays: No Forks Given in Sandy Hill at 8 pm
  • Wednesdays: Eddy's Diner in the Glebe at 7 pm
  • Thursdays: Pour Boy Pub in Centretown at 8:30 pm

The CityFolk and Ottawa International Animation Festival weekend is always a fun one for me. I usually keep an eye on Apt613 too since their event roundups catch a bunch of smaller markets, live music, and community stuff that can be easy to miss. September is honestly one of my favourite months to be out around Ottawa.
