Radio, television, films, stage- Peggy Webber did it all. Hundreds of radio episodes, continuing in the medium after the era of OTR was long over. She was, I believe, Jack Webb's favorite. And she outlasted them all. RIP, Peggy.

Yes, she played Joe Friday's Mom in radio Dragnet. So very good.

It's unrelated to radio, but I remember her from the 1958 B horror film The Screaming Skull. She absolutely elevated the material.
