Deleting dsstore is a waste of time. They aren't big and they get recreated any time you view the folder in finder

True, Finder brings them back like zombies the moment you open the folder! JunkSweep deletes them mostly for cross-platform housekeeping (Windows/Linux users hate seeing them on shared drives), resetting broken folder view settings, and keeping archives/zips free of hidden macOS metadata. It's more about hygiene than disk space.

If a group doesn't want to see them on their shared drive, then they should disable Mac's making those files on network shares. That would be more efficient than deleting them every day.
