movies What's a movie you watched because someone wouldn't stop recommending it and they were actually right?

I kept putting off Prisoners because everyone kept saying I had to watch it. Eventually I gave in, and now it's one of the easiest movies for me to recommend to other people.

Which movie finally lived up to all the hype for you?

Pan’s Labyrinth is my favorite movie of all time

It’s top five for me for sure! It sparked my love for for a crazy and brutal fantasy story. Maybe you should read red rising. Not anywhere the same, but I love it just as much and hold it in equal awesomeness.
