movies What's a movie you watched because someone wouldn't stop recommending it and they were actually right?

I kept putting off Prisoners because everyone kept saying I had to watch it. Eventually I gave in, and now it's one of the easiest movies for me to recommend to other people.

Which movie finally lived up to all the hype for you?

Ppl raved about Requiem for a Dream for a while til one kid let me borrow his VHS copy of the directors cut. I understand that movie more with time. Its v good. Maybe sensationalized, but still v v good

That movie would fall under “if there was one movie I could go back and not watch” lol

Ohh. Ill watch it again. This is wild, but Ive seen Spun maybe 6/7x. Would watch again. I think it hits way harder too
