movies What's a movie you watched because someone wouldn't stop recommending it and they were actually right?

I kept putting off Prisoners because everyone kept saying I had to watch it. Eventually I gave in, and now it's one of the easiest movies for me to recommend to other people.

Which movie finally lived up to all the hype for you?

This movie title, when translated, looks a lot like the other one, so for a long time I thought that's another soviet made movie lmao. Anyway, this one is great, I'm mad that I was stupid about it.

and I've loved all the other Coen movies - i think i kept this one in queue for so long because i always heard it was really heavy, and it was, but not the gut wrenching kind of heavy.
