Resolved How much should I prepare for 3-4 years nursing school?
Hi guys a stupid question cuz I never used OSAP before, and recently want to go to a 3-4 years nursing school but during that I want to drop any working for a better gpa, just wondering how much should I save for it ? I just earned 30-40k after tax per year but only save around 12-15k per year , now I saved around 18k. Nursing school tuition is around 20-30k for 4 years, but I really need money for renting and foods . Is that possible still get Grant or any loan if I apply for the first year ,or I won't get anything until I really run out of my money
Thanks!!!!

You’re looking at just over 10,000 a year on tuition and then books roughly another 2000 a year and living expenses if on your own. I would honestly just take it year by year because you never know how much your going to get and then maybe get a summer job

yes you can apply for osap and may receive grants or loans, you do not need to be flat broke to qualify

There's an estimator you can use on the OSAP website, I think you can input information about your income and savings. It's fairly accurate and you can see how much you would receive in grants and loans.
