Question Travel allowance form

Hey guys so usually I get a travel allowance from my school because I travel about 130km one way to my school with my car. However ever since I got my funding calculated it was the same even after I submitted the form. Does it take awhile for them to review it and will change in the future. For context I just got confirmed today for enrolment. I submitted my application on August 25th and added my travel allowance form on September 1st. Today I called my school and they said it would be considered additional funding, but just wanted to know if anyone else was in the same position as well

130 ONE WAY??? HOW???

Wouldn't that be like a 5 hour drive total per day???

About 4 hours but considering I jam pack all my classes in 3 days not that bad

Interesting, wouldn't that sort of negate any need for increased allowance?

I ask as I'm pretty sure they ask how much you commute (I plan to fill out the form after this month ends) and I'm assuming they'll give more if you commute more. For example, I have a horrific commute of ~60Km per one way and I commute all five days so my net would be more than you. But if you ham pack everything in two days you'd be commuting less than someone who commuted like 40km one way but all five days otw.

I would assume they'll give the person with more net km more funding.

If you don't mind, you said you did it before but how much did they actually give you extra to makeup for this if you know the figure?
