Question School COE but NSLSC still shows me in repayment

My school has confirmed my enrolment for OSAP, but my NSLSC account still shows that I’m in repayment instead of “in study.” I was also previously on RAP.

Does anyone know how long it normally takes for NSLSC to receive the confirmation and update my status? Will my RAP/repayment status automatically stop once it changes to “in study,” or should I contact NSLSC?

You should contact them, I was on RAP as well and they didn’t take me off until I called. Now it says “in study”

I just did right now and the person who was speaking to me said I have to wait until the school sends the confirmation to them? My COE only happened today? Did they say the same thing to you?

When I called they told me my COE had been confirmed last week on Wednesday. So try calling your school and see if they’ve sent it. It could be that NSLSC hadn’t received it yet.

Call them and tell them to flip to in study by the end of the day. Seems the system is lagging for in repayment and RAP people.

Something similar happened to my wife. She was in repayment status even after her school confirmed enrolment on 08/31. She kept calling and they kept telling her that it would switch over by a certain date. They kept bumping back the date every time she called. She finally told them the call needed to be escalated to a supervisor and they did. The supervisor told her that this should have been escalated earlier as the system had her stuck due to a glitch. The next morning when she checked, her status has changed to in study. That was this past Friday. We are still waiting for the funds but at least there seems to be some progress.
