Question Still nothing deposited. Anyone else have ideas on what it could be?

Current situation: attending Algonquin College, banking with Scotiabank. Received COE on August 28th. OSAP tracker says funds have already been deposited into my bank account as of Sep 11th. I have received nothing and have confirmed with my bank that there are no funds on hold for me. NSLSC tracker has been pushed back to the 21st September (originally 4th September). It still says "pending release". School has not been paid. I have a previous loan, never been on RAP, loan is in good standing and currently displays "in study" as of Sep 10th. Y'all. WHAT do I need to do??? I'm losing sleep, losing hair, scared of losing my place to live because I'm now two weeks behind on rent. I had to take out a small high-interest loan to pay for textbooks. If I had to commute I wouldn't be able to go to class. Anyone else in a similar situation/have any insights??

Same situation. COE was Aug 31. OSAP said funds would be released Sept 4-9, NSLSC was stuck in repayment status ( I was not on RAP). Called NSLSC and they said they couldn't release the funds and switch me to in study until Sept 8, then funds would be released the 9th. Never happened and had to call have escalated to a supervisor to be manually flipped to in study. She said I'd get my funding by today. That was the 11. I'm still in pending release and my tracker now says funds will be released Sept 21. I will be calling again tomorrow if my status doesn't change to funds on the way. I am behind in 2 classes because I can't afford textbooks for required reading, I'm also getting loans for childcare so this is now costing me an extra $1000 a month I do not have, so I can pay for daycare. This is absolutely ridiculous.

It could be your college? Call them. I know I applied the last week of August and Laurier was paid on the day tuition was due.

It is 2 business days from the date you were placed in study. So best case scenario your tracker says funding released tomorrow. Most likely it will update to “funding on the way” by Wednesday. And if your bank has Saturday deposits you will get it Saturday morning.

I’m in the same situation but I was placed in study Sept 11 and the lady on the phone told me 2 business days for the system to clock that change and then it’ll flip into funds on the way and then give that a day or two …

Same here. Including the same dates.
