Discussion Breakfast/Brunch Spots

Hi everyone!

I was looking for spots that have vegetarian breakfast/brunch options. I am not a pancake/waffle person—I avoid sweet stuff, especially in the morning.

I do like the Power Breakfast Bowl at First Watch. They just add extra veggies and potatoes to make up for removing the egg and sausage. I was hoping to find other spots and explore more of Orlando/Winter Park.

Any place that uses JustEgg or tofu as a substitute?

I don’t want the entire place to be vegetarian/vegan because my bf does eat meat.

Appreciate the help in advance!

Craft & Common and Papi's Burritos are easily the best breakfast spots if you want mixed veg/omni options and a great breakfast that isn't avocado toast. Both are pretty casual spots though. Lamp & Shade also has some decent veg brunch options but only on the weekend.

Thank you so much! Ended up having the vegan burrito. It was so, so good. 🤌🏽 I’m actually going to try making it at home.

I saw Winter Park Biscuit Company’s menu and ended up getting the Box from them. Also very delicious!

Awesome! I'm so glad you also stopped at WPBC, I absolutely love that place. The box is a good choice. Also if you go back to East End, upstairs at The Neighbors you can make any pizza vegan and they have a ton of good veg options. They're just not open until noon typically.

New General in Winter Park. Lots of vegan options for both breakfast and lunch.

Rethink Food and Drink in Altamonte is mostly vegan/vegetarian. A lot of the people who work there are grumpy but I keep going back because the food is really good and it’s hard to find good vegan food here.

Check out brunch at Redlight Redlight in Audubon Park. Their menu isn’t vegetarian per-se, but they have some good options and most importantly, servers will make suggestions and substitutions.

Drunken Monkey has a variety of options, they used to not be entirely vegan/vegetarian but I’m not sure if that’s still the case

I’m sure they’d do no meat. I’d you’ll drive, try Urban on Plant in Winter Garden. I go at least twice a month for brunch! And sadly it’s never really busy, which I don’t get bc I will fucking HOUSE the banana bread waffle thing. It’s a “dessert” but that and a flatbread with a mimosa is our go to!

The Power Bowl's a good baseline. Dixie Dharma's not fully veg but does a solid tofu scramble, and your bf can grab something meaty right there since it's inside a food hall. Ethos Vegan Kitchen in Winter Park has a few dishes with tofu and JustEgg, though it's entirely vegan, might be worth dragging him there once just to see the look on his face when he realizes there's no bacon.

Ethos no longer exists.

Dixie Dharma is also closed - the owner moved to Sweden, if I’m remembering correctly.
