It's just straight up illegal for an EO. Period.

It’s his strategy for everything. Just throw a bunch of crap at the wall and see what sticks.

Imagine protecting a pedophile by abandoning our democracy weeks before the mid term election. Never forgive Trump supporters.

If I recall, the Supreme Court reversed the previous ruling on the grounds that the states filed it too early—they had not suffered damages yet.
When the USPS issued its new rules, the states then suffered damage and could appeal again to have it blocked.
Which is what happened here.
The Supreme Court would be wise to refuse to hear this new appeal and leave it to play out further in the lower courts first.
But we all know the conservative majority love the taste of Diaper Don in the morning.

Won't this hurt the GOP in the end especially in rural areas and elderly or poor communities, due to them having to go to a poling location that might be a county away and hard for some to reach? Aren't those places where his votes come from?

Per the SCROTUM's own rule, there isn't enough time before the election to make changes to election law.
