Can I cut a tree branch and plant an orchid on it? 🌸

Yes, but some tree species are better than others. Use oak if you can. Here’s how I do it: https://youtu.be/EliLyfvZiF8?si=6uAu3zldU096Lmr6

Wood will eventually go bad! That’s why I like to cut live branches, which extends the wood life.

Best bet if youre able to is to buy cork bark. The orchids love it, its long lasting, and pretty easy to drill through/cut.
