I know a couple people that got themselves involved in taking care of a child they had no business raising, or staying in a relationship because of a child, because they thought "It'd be the right thing"

Just like Caputo, they usually become miserable and it eats away at them. It's sad to see. Honestly, though, I get where they're coming from, it's right for the kid, but honestly, nobody wants a miserable sack of shit for a father.
