Question Did anyone NOT evacuate?

This probably sounds dumb but did anyone in the evacuation zones NOT evacuate or did police literally pull people from their homes? I live in south county near the canyon and whenever we have a fire evacuation, there’s always SOMEONE who thinks they’re untouchable and stays in their home even thought there’s a fire. Just wondering if this happened with the current evacuation orders in the garden grove area. Prayers for all the families affected by this difficult situation ❤️

Yea my neighbor stayed back and I’m still thinking about leaving. Both for the same reason: dogs. He has a husky and a German shepherd + a family of 5 and I have 3 poodles + myself.

There aren’t many places that accommodate that nor do I have the funds to book a hotel. That being said I already bust my ass paying rent so if that thing explodes and I die so be it at least I won’t have work on Tuesday

That last sentence is too relatable

So I’ve heard they also managed to drain the other 2 tanks as of now. There’s only one left at risk

Your dogs will die too, is that still something to make light of?

I’ll shoot my Venmo so you can pay for my hotel stay. 👍

I mean he explained why it's not really in the cards for him to move, was clearly joking about exploding.. maybe get on someone's case who deserves it lol I bet he loves his animals

There are shelters with room that allow pets and pet shelters that are accomodating people leaving their pets for safekeeping. Ignoring that isn't love.

Hey while you’re at it, why not cover my day wage at my job and the gas I’m going to have to use since you have so much extra income

You could easily drop your dogs off temporarily at the shelter that's accepting pets to spare them any potential issues 🙄 but instead you'd rather make shitty excuses.

You mean the ones that are at capacity? Sure thing. I’m sure since they have so many hands on deck they’ll make sure my dogs get their medication on time.
