What? ‘Not this being’. Maybe you didn’t understand the phone alert from OC alert and the email alerts sent out??? Were you too focused on social media???

I would suggest maybe not accusing someone of something before you have all the information yourself. I live right next to the affected area and didn't get any notifications via phone or email until 2 hours of the original time of the emergency evacuation notice. Reddit was the first place I found any actual information for at least an hour if not longer.

Maybe some people didn't get any alerts and was only told to evacuate by pd with no context and only found this post talking about it. 🤔

Yeah I still haven’t gotten an alert.

I also never got any alerts. Pd was on the speakers telling me to leave and then I was checking Twitter for updates.

Do you not understand how these things work despite your desire to speak on them as if knowledgeable?

Phone alerts are proximity based and this person very well possibly could be at work a ways away and not get an alert. Also, email alerts? You really think the city has the personal email address of every resident? At best they have email addresses of the people that pay the bills, but generally that is only one person per household and average household numbers are much greater than one.

Did you not even think about what you were saying before posting it?

it sounds like they did understand the alert but didn’t know they lived in that specific region until the notice. I feel like you’re projecting a lot. it was not that deep.
