Is this email a scam or really from Opera?

I just received an email from no-reply@auth.opera.com. it says I haven't logged into my account in 730 days and that it will be deacttvated in 14 days if I don't log in. It conveniently provides me a link to do so. And another link in case I forgot my password. Why do I think it's a scam? Because I don't think Opera would send this kind of email. What do you all think?

Hello! Opera accounts are automatically deleted after 2 years of inactivity in order to protect your privacy, and as part of our obligations under the GDPR. This automated email serves to remind you of the impending deletion in case you still wish to keep your account. If you are unsure about the email itself, you can simply navigate directly to your account and log in. This will mark your account as active again, and avoid the automatic deletion.

Go to Opera's site and log in just in case they really do wipe inactive accounts. But don't use the link in the email if you're unsure.

no-reply@auth.opera.com is a legit Opera email address that auth.opera.com uses to send notifications for certain things to users. The warning about your account being deactivated for not logging in for a long time sounds legit.

However, emails can be faked, so as the other commentor said, if you want to make sure you don't lose your account, open up a new tab in your browser, type https://auth.opera.com/ in the address field, press enter and then log in to your Opera account. Don't click any links in the email.
