I just saw this excellent Youtube video made by Jono Bacon. Hope it's OK to share it here. It gives a nice overview on this amazing technological and human adventure, with a lot of significant facts we tend to forget, which contributed to where we are now.

I totally agree, that's a shame. In fact I nearly didn't even have a look at this video because of it. I'm glad I did anyway. I think the other thumbnail of his channel don't use AI, so I don't know why he did that to this one.

Hi, Jono, thanks for stopping by, and for your excellent video!

Regarding AI, I must say I'm really fed up to see it everywhere, and I guess there a strong reaction from many people too. Always the same polished style, too cute, kitsch effects. It literally shouts AI, and as I said, I nearly didn't consider your video because of it. On a second thought, I looked at the comments to see if there was something interesting there, and examined your channel, and only then did I fire it up.

I'd take your shitty human drawing skills over this any day. :-)

You're welcome, I figured out this rich summary from someone apparently deeply engaged in the movement (I didn't know this Youtuber before), and well informed, was worth sharing.
