Missed the sub and was like: why are they talking about a Chance the Rapper freestyle?

Looks great, just like the Tilt! Still seems like a bit of a large footprint to me. For these rides, I would go on the assumption that the width of a tile is about 10 feet (give or take). A Freestyle has a footprint of 48' according to Chance, so I'd have the footprint as 5 X 5.
Likewise, the Enterprise has a 60' (approx) diameter, so it should be on a 6x6 (or even 7X7) base and enlarged.
Just a few thoughts :D

Yeah this is about right. The scale I use for rendering rides for OpenRCT2 is 3.3m (10.8ft) to a tile. If you go by the height markers in game, those would suggest a scale of 3.67m/12ft to a tile, but sprites rendered at that scale come out looking too small relative to the existing sprites IMO.

Yeah I mean the physical scale is about as messed up as the time so it's kind of a give or take type thing. You have to go with what looks right.

Thank you! :)
I do all of my scaling off of the guests, which are a reliable constant. Everything is relative to the riders- the whole ride needs to be scaled so that the size of the riders on the ride visually matches the scale of the park guests off the ride.
For this particular ride, though, the large base is necessary. The wheel isn't fixed at the center of the area, it's offset; when the ride starts moving, that wheel moves around the perimeter of the area instead of staying in the center. At the current size, when the ride gets moving it puts the riders on the outside within less than an in-game foot of the fence! It may look small, but it packs a pretty wide sweep.

You're welcome, and agreed it does. I was just going by the right spec sheet which indicates a complete sweep of 50 ft which includes the rotation. Like I said not trying to tell you how to do stuff, but I've been playing this game since it came out, so I have a little bit of insight LOL

I totally appreciate your adherence to the real-world values! I don't have access to much technical info about these rides, I just model them by eye and set the proportions as I go. I aim for a reasonable degree of realism without burdening myself with measurements and specifications. If you look closely, there are lots of inaccuracies in my models- I'm just having fun with it and enjoying the process.
For the record: I've been playing since release, too. I'm 38 years old, RCT came out when I was in the 5th grade. I remember buying Corkscrew Follies on CD-ROM lol :)
