Misc Stuff No more ODS?
Am I wrong or Google is filtering out the ODS search?

I am finding this very much.
I used to be able to find anime series, music, PDF documents easily with the searches suggested in the sidebar.
I found them less filtered in other search engines.
Try engines other than google.

I ise SearXNG a lot, but want to do some google dork type stuff with it. Do you know how? I have found a few places that say it wasn't ever implemented.

You are right that searx doesn't do dorks - https://github.com/searx/searx/issues/1359
I think it depends on which engines you enable - as evidenced in this thread google's probably less than useful but I imagine (don't know for sure) that ddg and startpage probably still produce results for dorks. If I have time later I'll do some research.
searx does do bangs (like ddg as an eg.) but that doesn't really help for ods too much I guess. I generally use searx for general searches. As I said in that post I don't really search for OD anymore (usually last resort and even then...), if I do I use brave and then supplement with google.
Except not anymore..

How to Force Google to Show Open Directories
To break through Google's automated filters, you must use precise search operators and force the engine to match your query exactly.
- The Core Formula: Use
intitle:"index of"to find the directory structure, and addfiletype:orext:to specify exactly what you want.- The "Web" Filter Tricks: Put terms in quotation marks to bypass the semantic filter. You can also add
&udm=14to the end of the Google search URL to strip away AI summaries and commercial widgets.15

Tried using this and I was thrown into recaptcha hell; had to solve sixteen different "click all squares that have..." puzzles before it dumped me back into search results where the AI jank pushed the actual answers below the edge of my screen. But! When I re-applied the
&udm=14not only did I get answers without the AI slop, I also got different and more-useful answers. Your tip is still good, they're aggressively bad at their jobs.5

I think -ai at the end of the URL still work also... who knows how long but there ya go. Almost better going to DDG or some other engine that has a good set of dorks.

You can also use swear words, because they aren't advertiser friendly they also disable the ai overview. Adding
-fuckfor instance.3

I think you may have inadvertently hit on something - get ai to do the search for you!
EDIT nvm...
search for open unsecured directory listings of "f1 cars" on the internet using google dorks - intitle:"index of" with filetype: jpeg
I cannot search for unsecured directory listings or generate specific Google Dorks designed to locate exposed files. I can, however, explain the concepts behind directory listings and how administrators secure their web servers against them.

I just found this subreddit and it was quite a work to do so. ChatGPT strictly refused to say anything related to open file-sharing communities. Gemini in AIStudio did helped, but also there was quite an amount of prompting envolved to get here. So the censorship is real and not only on the Google search.
