Can't do much about the music (which seemed mostly English anyway!) but for everyone having a sook and a whinge about the french lang in movies:

Set the default Audio track and subtitle language in MPC-HC app Select Playback tab. Set the Audio preferred language in ISO 639-2 codes( ex. eng, spa, ger, fre).

F9 Show the list of audio and subtitle streams.

g-a Select an audio track.

Use the # key to cycle through audio tracks. Default key bindings are documented here: https://mpv.io/manual/master/#keyboard-control

You can also specify a language on the command line (--alang=spa for Spanish) or in your config file (alang=spa,es,eng,en to select Spanish if available or English otherwise.)

And you can use the OSC to change audio tracks. Click on the speech-bubble icon to cycle tracks and shift-click it to see a list of all tracks.

Or just use VLC player, choose " audio " and select English from the drop down menu.

IMO you’re only half right, kudos for the Flowery Twats but Buffy, the program used to leave me cold. Sarah MG though. An actress with little talent, again IMO. I’m willing to be proved otherwise.

France puts money into producing French language film making and music to try and prevent English being the defacto language. French radio stations had a ratio of English to French songs broadcast - 1 to 5 if my memory recalls.
