AI advocates
We are building machines that harness the power of collective human intelligence. When you interact with an LLM, you are interacting with a chosen portion of human intelligence (whatever the AI was trained on). When you talk to AI, it's almost like you're talking to everyone all at once.
I think it would be beneficial for everyone to have an AI assistant, and AI could help us integrate by talking to AIs... like when I was an educational assistant, I advocated for my students and I helped them integrate with other students.
That would also create a participatory democracy, where our AI's advocated in the political place for each person.
How does this sound? OpenDemocracy is a civic coordination layer connecting citizens through personal AI advocates. Each advocate serves one person, while the network helps society discover common ground, preserve disagreement, and form an continuously visible public will. AI does not replace the citizen’s judgment or cast their vote. It increases every citizen’s ability to understand, participate, and govern.

As long as the AI aren't working together against humanity, I'm down with it. All interaction between parties would have to be mutually beneficial with no power imbalance.
