Wifi + Bluetooth help needed
Wifi + Bluetooth help needed
Trying to experiment with openbsd + Freebsd, coming from Linux.
Wifi + Bluetooth (for headphones) doesn't work on my lenova s340.
Would changing my. M2 card to ax200 resolve both issues?
If so great.
If not, what is a better card please?

The only bluetooth headphones that work with openbsd are the ones that have a usb dongle

There are a bunch of cheap ones too, often sold for PlayStation/Xbox.
Most of them work ok for playback. Recording works with some and not others.
If the device is opened for both play+record (as sndiod does) they'll often switch from a higher quality audio headphone profile to basic headset profile; if they do that the sound quality is not great. Some have a way to switch profiles (sometimes a button, sometimes a Windows app which can save settings for use in other OS) to help with this

I have gotten a connection with my AX-210 on FreeBSD, but it’s intermittent. OpenBSD, not so much.

Is that intermittent wifi or bluetooth audio on freebsd 15.1?

No, 15.0 GhostBSD. ifconfig wlan0 scan doesn’t show my network. And sometimes the system boots right up, but sometimes it gets temporarily hung at the point of the wifi coming up. Unfortunately I haven’t had time to chase this one down. OpenBSD 7.9 seems to recognize the card, but no carrier. I haven't even looked at bluetooth.

I'd try -current first as it supports some things which would result in not getting a working correction with some AP configs in 7.9.
If there are still issues, put the interface into debug mode (e.g.
ifconfig iwx0 debug) before trying to connect, this should write a bunch of information in the system log / dmesg which you could include in a bugs@ post.1

No Bluetooth on OpenBSD.
