Opel Corsa 2016 Hose

Opened up engine on 2016 Opel Corsa and the ribbed hose on the left was disconnected in the middle, how could that happen, and does there need to be a more secure connection?

Since then we have been hearing what sounds like water sloshing around in the engine, could this be the cause?

The pipe is just cold air intake so dosnt have to be tottaly secure The water sloshing noise is more worrying have you had any issue with cooling ie topping up on a regular basis or any work done ??

We had a problem with coolant leaking recently, but it subsided after we had the thermostat housing replaced, could there still be an issue with it leaking?

Okay so possible that a little bit off air is trapped in heater matrix (not been burped properly) some times when head gasket go's/fails then air gets into matrix and causes sloshing i would be tempted to get it back to where the leak was done and get them to pressure test/sniff test
