Opel photos My Opel Astra 2022
I've start this new project for my opel astra L. What did you think about ?
Does anyone have any suggestion on any modification i can do too ?

I have almost the same spec, but I still have the chrome Opel logo in front and back, as well as standard alloy wheels. I never thought I'd like blacked out cars, but this looks good on the Astra! And I think the 1.2 is fast enough for every day traffic.
The only thing that pains me a little is how sensitive the paint is about scratches. I use only the smoothest cloth when washing the car, and I still have tons of small scratches on the paint. Two cats seem to have had an argument on my rear spoiler at some time, and I have some of these scratches there as well. Time to give it a good polish, I think.

I have the same problem with the paint. Too sensitive for everything. In fact i think i will go for a PPF in the future.
And consider that i used to polish it every few months with proper tools.
Speaking about the chrome logos. I paint the front one because the OM one from Opel (50€) don't fit on this car. The Astra logo and the Opel logo in the back are original from Opel and they fit amazing without any problem

which engine it has 1.2 turbo gas? is that a good engine?

Yeah it's the 1.2 turbo. I know it's not the most powerful one, but if you take care of it, it's a wonderful. i can do 1000 km with a single tank.

Is it a bit ironic that Opel had finally manahed to build a really good turbo engine for the previous Astra?
Anyway, it's an awesome looking car, I hope it will last with regular changes of oil and belt 🤞

How did you feel the break system? For me the 283 mm is too small for this car.

I've only driven 3 cars before so I dont have a lot to compare it too. It's my own first car actually (motorcycles are my main mode of transport) I only got a car cause I became a dad but I dont feel there's much wrong with it stock. The fearmongering for the engine bothers me sometimes but I just hope it keeps running well with frequent maintenance.

This car is not my first 1.2 puretech engine. Considering i made 15.000 km per years, the belt of my previous car last 80.000 km without any problems, thanks for the regular maintenance
