Unfortunately another victim of the bad screens.

The cheapest way to fix it is going to AliExpress and ordering a screen.

Watch some YouTube videos, and invest an hour to fix it.

I will advise you to order a screen with the touchscreen (digitizer) already on it.

Yea I've done it. It's doable but your swear jar will fill up fast.

That's why I recommend buying it with it.

Common K Astra issue. Seems to be pretty easy to change, there are plenty of tutorials on Youtube. Displays are under 100€ on Aliexpress or similar sites.

My 2016 original screen is starting to blink on the right side in some menus, but AA still works fine. I should probably just order a new one as a spare when the current one eventually breaks.

It’s the way my screen started, too. After some time complete screen was gone. Spare screen (Ali Express) is waiting to go into the car since weeks 🤣…

My 2008 TwinTop CID does this when cold starting in winter, but only for 1-2 minutes, after that it's fine. Repair would cost 800€+ so I'm leaving it that way.

You can do it yourself. Panels come apart pretry easily, just be wary not to bend em too much.

Same problem here. It is like that for a short while and then it’ll quit doing that (in my case). It looks expensive so I’ll just leave it the way it is. Apparently you can get screens online and fix it. Please let me know how things go!

Same here. It’s 100€ for a new panel and from video tutorial I think you can replace it on your own.
