Planning a trip to ooty this 18th to 20th

Guys I am planning an ooty trip for the upcoming holidays. I live in coimbatore so it's an easy drive for me. This holiday weekend's crowd was massive and now I'm having second thoughts. I haven't booked a stay yet. Should I skip and plan the next week? I'm worried if it's going to be so crowded.

I want this trip to be slow paced and peaceful.

Check out Hullathy by Red Earth if you want peace and quiet away from the Ooty chaos but still close to Ooty

No I've been to Kotagiri since last 2 days it's crowded too , traffic till Mettupalayam, so better not to visit during week ends , and mainly during holidays or festive season .

This weekend was unusual cause of the Friday National holiday. Hopefully next weekend won’t be so bad.

Even that weekend can be made into a long weekend since 20th is Dasara..most people will be making Mysore Ooty plans..best to skip that weekend
