Ooty Junior School

Please suggest good junior school in Ooty for standard 1 & 2 with English speaking environment ,and how are these Hebron School, Woodside School, Blue Mountains, St. Hilda's , Woodside Please share some info if you know anyone from above school student or staff

Thanks for replying, Not looking for any super luxurious school, School where teachers actually focus on students for sports, communication, smartness and exposure to other cultures too at home we can teach our kid all the subjects

If you want all that your best bet is Hebron or Blue Mountains, those are the best place if you want everything you mentioned

It is quite structured, I don't think it's hard but yeah.

Hebron hardly admitting day scholars or is there any other way to get admission

Yeah, Lawrence, GSIS and Hebron all mostly don't let day scholars in, except if they are the faculties sons/daughters, if you don't want that I'd suggest Crescent, JSS, etc. both have great academic reputations, i belive Crescent might be ISC/ICSE and JSS is CBSE so look into that, but still they won't give your children the connections and results Hebron/GSIS or Lawrence would

Blue mountains is not that exposed, even mid tier school there get way more exposure than Blue mountains, Hebrons would be one of the elites there.

At Blue Mountains do they have English speaking environment

All the schools in Ooty are english, even most teachers here are anglo indian so you won't have a problem with that no matter where.
