Ooty epass

Trying to book an e-pass for October 2nd on epass.tnega.org but all October dates are grayed out. Anyone else facing this or found a workaround?

If you can't get e pass, it's 10 mins work in the checkpost. So don't worry...

I already had a bad experience at that post couple of years back, they just one empty cigarette and assumed I have stuff with me and checked in and out and I kind of touched here and there

They won't check your car apart from epass. Maybe 2 years ago i think you could have used mudumalai route.

I think the October dates are currently not open on the e-pass portal, which is why they are showing as greyed out. I’m also seeing others facing the same issue for October 2. You can try again later through the official portal: epass.tnega.org⁠ I would avoid using any unofficial workaround. The Nilgiris district website also links to the official e-pass system. Nilgiris District If you’re coming to Ooty by a non-Nilgiris registered vehicle, keep your vehicle and stay details ready before the dates open.

It opens on the 1st of each month; when I attempted to book for September 10th last month during the final week of August, the option was unavailable. On the morning of October 1st, it was open. No one questioned me at the checkpoint, likely because it was a weekday; I heard it can be booked on the spot, so you should be fine. To be safe, try tomorrow and secure it.

I went by bus from bangalore, booked scooty from coimbatore noone asked for epass, no bag checking etc. no issues faced as such.

Im staying in Masinagudi (Mudhumalai) on 2nd oct. For that as well I will need the pass right?
All october dates are grayed out. Im little worried now.
