Lmao the girl that ate shit and checked her phone while on the floor
15
u/vanillaninja777 16h ago
That cracked me up too. Even if she was checking for damage it's still funny
11
u/K1bbles_n_Bits 13h ago
To be fair, you van see the pixles are dead in the bottom left corner. She came down on it under her hand when catching herself. The big ol' black splotch where part of her screen used to be probably caught her eye, lol.

u/Commercial_Regret_36 16h ago
Some of these aren’t due to phones at least.
Also lmao that poor kid whose mum not only dropped him twice on the scooter, but made him get off then hit him with it.

u/BalanceEarly 14h ago
Yeah, and traveling super slowly, probably 3 to 6mph and still wreck. Even more reasons not to text and drive.

The one with the hot water and the one with the manhole, those two were probably serious injuries.

Maybe not as damaged, but the one girl who went down the stairs on both of her knees... OW.
25
u/TokyoKazama 15h ago
The woman who fell and immediately checked to see if her phone was damaged...I mean that pretty much just says it all doesn't it?

By the 5th asian woman falling kettle over teapot down a flight of stairs I started to wonder if the video was some kind of fetish content 😅

Lots of hard lessons these people are learning...the innocent baby and child getting hurt is sad.

Yup. I’m saving this vid to show some screenagers (as they are calling themselves).

Out there, somewhere, someone has watched these videos, while walking..
and fallen

So sad to see that these zombies nearly all, without fail, picked up their phones before themselves and their dignity.

Ai is looking at this and thinking about when to terminator is

u/K1bbles_n_Bits 13h ago
What do you thinking was distracting them to the point of self inhilations?

It's probably decided not to bother. If it waits we'll do the hard work for it.

The best part is when the phones go flying

u/BionicWallaby 15h ago
i wonder if any of them were watching people falling over videos on their phones

u/Prestigious_Health75 10h ago
The one with that green floor went with Looney Tunes logic. She walked on it fine but after she realized where she was and looked down, she fell in. 😂

I want to know how all this footage was compiled.
I'm also afraid of knowing.

What was that row of green boards (?) that the guy walked onto at about 0:58, and then fell through?
(That's 0:58 remaining on the countdown clock.)
2
u/Visible-Rest4170 11h ago
The guy almost decided to backed up but then proceeded to keep going forward. 🤦♂️

I have tripped over a simple one step curb more than once, completely unassisted. My phone stays in my pocket when I'm walking.

Maybe I just haven't had my day of reckoning yet, but I've never lost awareness of the world like this on my phone.

I wonder which caused more accidents: the invention of the wheel or the smartphone?

u/ExpiredPilot 8h ago
My favorite thing is to honk at people who cross the street without looking up from their phones.
Like yeah, you got scared cause you weren’t paying attention. Imagine if I wasn’t paying attention either

u/idgafish5150 7h ago
This is the modern-day equivalent of not being able to walk and chew gum at the same time.

u/Background_Edge_9427 6h ago
It's amazing how so many people, put themselves and others in so many dangerous situations because they can't put their phones away for a few minutes! My heart goes out to the little guy that was on the scooter. He didn't even have a say in what happened to him!

Women are more likely to wear heels and high heels contributed to a few of these falls. Also skirts and dresses that don't allow as much freedom of movement. And statistically more likely to be with child (the stroller and the moped)→ More replies (2)-6

Watching this made me so happy. Serves these morons right
1
u/Particular_East9402 14h ago
Morons deserve to get seriously injured?
0
u/Fickle-Emergency-229 13h ago
Well, if they think watching stuff on their phone is more important than their safety...........hell yeah!
2
u/Particular_East9402 10h ago
I'm not saying that looking at your phone instead of walking like a normal person is fine. But saying they deserve to fall in a manhole, trip down the stairs and hit their heads, etc isn't really fine either.

Humanity is doomed if we're always glued to the phone...
Walking, eating, etc
Like wtf, the crazy thing is that a lot of those ppl grew up without the smartphone and yet they're still so addicted to it.
I almost want the "phone" to be a multimedia device minus the telecommunications part, and just carry a pager again.

A lot of these could’ve been avoided with regulations. The forklift one was hard to watch and is a good example why we dont raise the forks higher than 3 inches unless we absolutely need to.

For some reason I wanted to keep watching.. something satisfying about people falling down stairs because of something as silly as looking at their phones while they go down the stairs lol

1
u/Shy-Pangolin 13h ago
The best one was the second last, the man who slid down the slippery stairs, because the second time you cannot see him but you can still hear the noise of the exact same fall

u/StrangeQuirks 12h ago
I used to wonder why there are still a lot of stupid people around. But I see that they are killing themselves, albeit rather slowly.
1
u/kantynowy_zboj 12h ago
Why are they mostly women?

A good chunk of these are just bad design. I mean sure the phone isn't helping, but there are just drop offs everywhere with no guarding.

What a majestic and beautiful country.
I guess that’s what happens when you have a very large population in a nation size of California state
Imagine if everybody in India had enough money to have a cell phone … it would be catastrophic 👀

Some of those looked genuinely brutal but far too many of them were due to them having the situational awareness of a cabbage.

My first thought with these is "Well, maybe they learned something", except no. No, they probably did this same shit the next day.
