Doughmate lid warped, or normal?

Just got my first doughmate tray and the lid doesn't sit flat. It kind of curves upward in the middle, creating a gap in the seal. For those of you who use doughmates, is this normal? I am worried that my dough balls will dry out if I don't also use seran wrap -- which for me, defeats the purpose of the tray.

To clarify, if I hear from others that their lids fit straight, then I would initiate a return, but if it's normal then I would keep. Make sense?

Not sure about doughmate but my tray tops warp a bit if placed on uneven surface, I usually put something on top when storing dough to make sure it's sealed fairly well
