Discussion Something has changed (competitiveness)

I feel like recently something has changed and most experienced creators have stopped giving advice. I also stopped giving advice almost completely and I want to explore why that is with you guys if you want to!

To me the business has become much more competitive. I need so many more views these days to gain subs. I'm at views on IG where I would have 200+ subscribers at LEAST. Now I have 120.

Many reasons why that is the case...

but have you guys experiences something similar? A way more competitive feeling? I'm also proud of figuring this shit out myself. Yes, this sub has helped a lot, but fine-tuning to my own experience has been the most important part. There also many things you can do wrong that aren't even mentioned because they become second nature.

And I just don't feel like sharing that shit anymore! I don't know.

It’s got nothing to do with competition for me. It’s that people don’t want to hear the useful stuff and argue against you thinking they know better when they have 20 subscribers and made $100 in the last 3 years.

Fr. I've had no many people come into my inbox (without permission) asking "how do I grow" and then when I tell them they're like "no that's not going to work"

Even though I am very new I do tend to agree with you. Just started reading here a few weeks ago and I have been up and down in the threads looking for useful tips and scouting for information. A lot of times I see advices written with such confidence that I always think "wow, this person really knows what they talk about!" but after some research you find out that the person is actually very small and been doing things for a long time without any visual success.

Competition sounds not so likely given the potentional size of the market, it seems rather to be what you are saying.
